I almost think that the coaches were so worried about Tyler getting broken in half that they focused so heavily on pass blocking and hoped the running backs could get their own yardage.
I know Cregg used a zone blocking scheme, but what is Hiestand teaching?
I don't want to go off and say he should lose his job, but with the amount of talent at Hiestand's disposal this is ridiculous, even with the relative inexperience and the ridiculously talented Florida D-Line.
Name another team that starts 4 sophs on the OL.

3 of those 4 Soph have a full year of SEC experience & add in a Jr, they got whooped by Montanas DL. It looks like they got worse over the summer. We might have a big OL but they are 6'6 300+ mama boys that want to play patty cake w/ the opposing DL.

More than with any other position, OL needs to be developed for at least two full years before they are able to make meaningful contributions. That means that most OL should reach close to their potential their redshirt sophomore years. These guys are True sophomores, and it shows. They will get better with experience, but you can't expect these guys to skip a full year's worth of development because they got "plenty of experience" last year. That was just a bunch of young guys trying to survive. This year they are trying to progress.
