'12 GA RB Imani Cross (Nebraska Commit)

Country Vol said yesterday there's no way he sees Cross staying st RB, too big. Looks just like a LB, a la Westmoreland and Moore. I'd take that...

I hope he's wrong, UT needs some bigger backs who aren't afraid to hit people in the mouth. There are plenty of RB's that are Cross's size all over cfb.

11 carries, 225 yards, 4td, only 1 carry in second half

North Hall, serious question, how is Cross able to rack up all these yards each night? Does he just lower his shoulders & continiously run over people? B/c from the few SR game clips I've seen he looks to be bigger & quit a bit slower than last year.

He runs through people yes, but after he breaks through he out runs everybody, he was hurt last year and I think he looks faster this year IMO.(he out runs corners nearly every game) I've known him for three years now and he has been close to the same size since ive known him. He has put on afew pounds this year for the simple reason that he plays nearly every down and he is either getting hit or he is making the play on D. If he wasnt on this team, they night win 3 games, he means that much to them.

NHV - a couple questions...is he 225 or much bigger? Do you see him being a RB at UT or moving to LB like 'country orange' seems to think?

Yes X 100

95% of Cross's carries are on the same play, with a FB and pulling guard. But Cross has to run over two or three defenders every play, it seems.

Its hard for me to say Jmoore, that picture you posted of him he looks much larger in person, his arms are giant meathooks, i knew stephen davis when he was in HS, and body wise thats who he reminds me of, if i remember correctly he didnt want to play lb in college, and that was one of the reasons he chose UT, these coaches so far have stuck to what they have told these kids position wise(cam clear), i dont think he goes to lb unless there is no chance of pt at rb.(jr,sr season).

Cross is headed to Knoxville, Tenn., today to see the Volunteers take on No. 1 LSU from the sidelines. When asked for a prediction, he just laughed and said, "No prediction
