'12 JUCO DE Denico Autry (MSU signee)

id be disappointed if it was only wilcox and joseph who went... i know both are good but i would have expected Dooley to be there

Somebody said that DD went and I found it odd that he hadn't already used his in home visit. If he didn't go today I would bet it was because he wasn't able to due to recruiting rules.

So is this a matter of parents vs JuCo coaches as to where Denico goes? Like someone said, his parents were all-Vol, but his coaches are the ones pushing him to MSU.

According to TOS Wilcox and Joseph went to see Autry but nothing seems to have changed. Doesn't sound promising, but I will keep some hope alive that based on recent events they would want to keep this tight lipped until that LOI is in. GO VOLS!!

I'm going to guess that TOS or any "inside sources" have any idea about how the in home went.

This just seems like a case where we have to wait and see.

If the visit went well and we flipped it, all the people involved will say the meeting went well but nothing changed.

If the meeting went well and he is staying the course, all the people involved will say the meeting went well but nothing changed.

I have my fingers crossed.

Hope there was really a chance. Not looking forward to yet another meltdown when he in fact does sign with the subpar "bulldogs".

If he is flipped. It will only come out at the last minute. Don't want to tip your hat to MSU.

I think it depends on what actually happened. If he had already commited to our staff and then chose MSU, as a coach I would be worried about anything the kid says. With his season over, he should not have the pressure from the local Juco coaches. IMO, he should have no problem going public if he wants to go to UT. The kid does not have to take calls or listen to other teams if he does not want to. If his pick is Tennessee, he could call MSU and tell them it is UT and please do not contact me again. It only becomes a problem, if you let it.If his pick is MSU, he could tell UT the same thing. If a kid tells a coach flat out, "I am done". I would think coaches would respect that and leave them alone.

I agree Lebanon, but after reading some of the posts by Crooms mom there is no doubt some shady recruiting goes on out there.

Shady recruiting goes on everywhere. How do you think Da'Rick ended up at UT.

Yeah. You just did this.

I might be wrong but I thought it was because UT was willing to give Da'Ricks friend Nance a scholarship. I am not sure if I would call that shady. Tennessee felt Rogers was worth 2, and took the chance.

I'm just saying. Shady recruiting goes on everywhere. We complain when it is done against us but we look the other way and spin it when it works in our favor. That's nothing new, I'm just keeping it real.

The father of the "friend" was the shady one.

Was he? Could UGA not have offered Nance a scholarship and it would have been a non issue as they would have both been at Georgia? Alot of high school teammates and friends want to play at the same school. If we want B. Brown this year, it seems we have to take his cousin. There are situations like it every year.

This... We gave 2 schollies for Da'Rick.. Call it shady if you want.. I might call it costly.. Time will tell if he proves worth it..

Da'Rick is good dude and I wish him the best, Nash Nance as well. I can't say the same for Nance Sr. I'll leave it at that.

My point is that shady recruiting happens everywhere. Sometimes it works in our favor and sometimes it doesn't. I mean no disrespect.
