'12 JUCO DE Denico Autry (MSU signee)

Last I checked weve got some pretty good freshman coming in. Jucos will help while they're being developed. Try to control those hot flashes...

Don't get ahead of yourself. B Moore and Lanier were and are talented players. There will still be some adjustment for these guys.

The difference in those two and Couch from the group coming in this class, they were not EEs and did have trouble adjusting. Over the course of the season you did see each one begin to step it up and show what they can do. This group being here for spring ball and off season workouts, they will be way ahead of the curve.

"Hanging out with the players," Autry said. "My host was Olivier Vernon. He's a great guy, man. We went out and ate, talked to academic people, an athletic advisor. And the coaches were real cool. Coach (Al) Golden, he was talking about how he wants me to come to Miami."[/QUOTE]

Hanging out where??? :eek:hmy: Went to eat where?:eek:hmy: Who paid for it?:eek:hmy: "an athletic advisor":eek:hmy: Something tells me both Uncle Luke and little brother Nevin Shapiro were involved.....:eek:hmy: I'm sure he had a blast at one of Uncle Luke's freak shows at a shake joint. lol.:eek:hmy:

I don't agree.. They will make proper adjustments.. Can keep recruiting juco if they need..everybody does it

Everybody does it with the elite guys, but you can't make a living off JUCO's. That is what Ole Miss and Miss State have done and they haven't won anything by doing that.

Fortunately though that is not what Dooley is doing. He's only after the best of the best in the JUCO ranks and probably wont take more than 4-5 in any individual clas.

+1. It's a huge difference. And I have to say I feel good about all 3 of the JUCO's in last year's class. They will all end up being solid contributors with Couch and Lanier both having the potential to be real difference makers.

Afraid they will actually be marginally worse w/o Malik, at least for the first half of the season.

I think it will be about the same. You have to hope the returnees on the Dline will be better than they were last year due simply to experience and maturing in and out of the weight room. But Malik is no doubt a huge loss. I just like the fact that there will finally be some decent numbers of quality / SEC caliber players on the Dline this year to provide some legit competition.

Arrrrrrrrrrrrghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh well, up and at them. Can't get them all.

How about we go after Bo Wallace?

How the fudge do you commit to State over UT? I bet we lose Jacobs now seriously FML. I was having a good day till this happened.
