I'd say I'm not near as confident about Damien Jacobs now. Since everyone has been saying that those 2 were solid to the Vols and just telling other coaches what they want to hear. Looks like the joke is on us.

Autry and possibly Jacobs are going to be playing for a permanent doormat, therefore, the joke is on them.

You told us what you heard and Eric vouched for you so that's the end of it IMO. This could get ugly in here though b/c I don't think everyone shares my opinion.

Jelks grew up a Tennessee fan and look how that turned out, growing up a fan doesn't mean anything and Sirmon has done more, im not denying that, but the recruiting coordinator is never a lead recruiter.

Rodney Garner sure was a lead recruiter when he was the TE's coach and RC at Tennessee.

Staff didn't want him, we are on better prospects, just making room, heard he had grade issues, had character issues, told the staff he wanted his 2nd cousin who is a frehsman in highschool to get an offer, wait till Byron Moore meets him across the middle....etc.

It's really not that I am simply blasting him for missing on a recruit, it just has to do with the fact that it is arguable that he, or CHH, are the worst coaches on this staff judging by the regression of the positions they coached during the season.

Add that to this, and yeah, it adds more fuel to the "why is he here?" sentiment.

First off let me say this... I don't think OCI is a fraud...

But for anyone who says LOCK... how can you expect ppl to respond any differently? When you say lock it is done...nothing to worry about...no way MSU gets in the picture...

So with that being said...anyone who uses 100% or the word lock is setting themselves up for complete failure in todays recruiting circus...

It's understandable. The attacks on me really don't get to me, it's the people claiming to be Vols fans but those people get more excited about me being wrong than us landing a recruit. I have always stated that I pass along the info I get. Crazy things happen, and something crazy happened with Autry.

WKYVol, I apologize for anything I have said to you that may offend you. Feel free to continue being skeptical of anything I say. If you are a fan of the Vols, I just hope you bask in the glory of success more than bask in the glory of me being wrong.
