'12 JUCO DE Denico Autry (MSU signee)

I guess that means you can't explain it.

They had 3 guys focused on him and tried like hell to jam him at the line. JJ was over top nearly every passing down on Jeffery's.

Lattimore was, in the words of Dooley, doing his Secretariat impression on Tennessee. There wasn't really any reason to force anything to him. He took a missed tackle and poor coverage how many yards?

Another great example of coaching

I still cannot understand why UT has such trouble signing some elite DL talent. I wish he'd come to UT, but it's time to move on and try to find someone else.

I fully agree with you. I walk by the stadium at least once every week, and everytime I do, I just gaze at it, wondering why we can't get any top notch recruits in here, especially when you consider that the town is one of the better ones in the SEC. Anyhow, I guess it all goes back to winning and stability. Or maybe just having a more talented in-state recruiting base. If you win, they will come sort of mentality or something. Hell, I have no idea.

Stability is overblown.

One JUCO DE isn't the end of the world. Tennessee will still recruit well.

word is he is getting some extra benefits from two boosters down there. These two were both linked with the Newton scandal, and were the one who got the handler to offer cash for newton's services. The benefits are for autry's family mainly, so it shouldnt be hard to see "upgrades" in living conditions.

Yeah I walk past it everyday when classes are in session. Obviously I am biased, but with a stadium and facilities like UT has, recruiting is more difficult than maybe it should be.
