UT just offered a *** receiver out of South Carolina which most likely means they don't expect to get Cordarelle Patterson.

I think this staff is smart enough to realize that these kids are KIDS. and Cordarrelle could wake up on NSD (just like Dawson a few years back) and decide to go somewhere else.. It's not about just having a "back up plan" it's about having an EMERGENCY plan, IMO

The staff knew, but what about recruits. MZTERRY didnt seem to know when it was brought up and wasnt exactly excited about it when it was brought up.

I think it would be an ok hire, not a splash though. ALL us VOL fans love to have old players back coaching. But look at Chuck Smith and how productive he was, do we really think Tee martin who is at Kentucky will do better? I tend to lean on the side that he won't simply because he is at kentucky, they are terrible, and if he was a hot commodity why is he still at Kentucky? I think Dooley branches out and finds someone again in the NFL ranks.

Vol IMO still.

We are going to either get Porter or Martin to replace Baggett and IMO it would be pretty cool to be coached at TN by the former Nchampionship winning QB for that school.
