UGA we would've outscored you. We would've beat Florida. Hunter would've dominated that game. The LSU game would've been different because we could've just took whatever matchup that didn't include Claiborne. The Bama game would've been a lot better. I think we would've out scored Arkansas because they wouldn't have stopped us. Their defense is terrible we were moving the ball with Worley not Bray and Rogers went for 100 yards by himself. Rivera would've been a huge factor in that game. SCAR would've been embarassed by the Vols with Hunter and Bray. Arky threw all over them and we were missing WRs like hell. Even with Lattimore we would've stopped them. They were already horrible on O with him. I would've rather played against Garcia's terrible ass. He was a horrible Qb. A mobile Matt Simms is all he is.

This is a little much. Lots of speculation. We definitely would have been much more competitive in a lot of the games since we would have been able to keep the defense off of the field more often. I fully believe Ark. would have still beat us. They are potent on offense. We can be just as potent, but when you factor in youth, I'd give the edge to Ark. I agree with you about USCjr. They aren't good. If you can contain Lattimore, you'll most likely win the game.

Long story short, there is a lot of speculation here. I'm just as big of a fan as the next guy, but to say we would've stayed in it with Bama or LSU is a little much.

It would have made the UGA game more interesting. I'm sure you guys believe you win with Hunter. We'll just disagree on that. We'll see how next year plays out.

You guys do realize that the schedules are set up way ahead of time. I know how the schedules played out. UT had a brutal schedule and we had an easy schedule, it just works out that way. We have had our fair share of brutal schedules in the past. This is the way it works in the SEC. Check out our 08 schedule, talk about brutal.

Georgia's 08 schedule has nothing in ours this year.

You guys played 3 teams in the top 15, and lost to 2 of them. And that's giving LSU more credit than they deserve in 08.

He would have given Bray all he could handle, probably would not have beaten out Bray though. What I meant was that he would have been playing right after Bray went down. Sorry for not being clear enough.

Gotcha. But that isn't saying much. He would have started over a garbage QB in Simms and a true freshman.

I did not say that. We played the toughest SEC opponents and played 2 tough out of conference games. That was a tough schedule.

Just keep an eye out for Hutson Mason. The kid is a very good QB with excellent mechanics. He would play here right now if something were to happen to Murray.

Does UGA enjoy giving away decent, productive QBs then? Didn't Mettenberger transfer from UGA? Now this kid (assuming what you say is correct, of course)?

What? Who?

Yes, we traveled out West to play Arizona State. I know they were not very good but I am always concerned traveling far into an opponents stadium. We also played GA Tech who had not beaten us in almost a decade. Paul Johnson came in with the new offense that gave our defense fits.

Good grief.

Mett was kicked off the team for grabbing up on woman while on Spring break. Mason has stated he wants to play, can't blame the kid because he would play right now for other SEC teams. Mason is just not going to jump over Murray right now or anytime soon. Our staff is preparing for Mason to transfer after this year.

That's right. Thanks. Definitely forgot about that little fact with berger boy.

I just wish Tennessee had UGA' s SEC West schedule this year and UGA had Tennessee's. At the very worst Tennessee would be 6-4 right now and UGA would be 5-5 right now. It's amazing to me that UGA has a few years where they get both Mississippi schools on the schedule. That never happens for Tennessee.

We'd have two extra wins (if Bray was healthy for those games).

I don't agree with this statement. It's not a given we would be 6-4 with UGA's schedule. MSU could easily beat us, they played LSU, Bama within 20 points and almost took Auburn to overtime at the Barn. We haven't done anything close to that.

Also, I don't know if we could beat Ole Miss on the road either with backup QB's. They played Arkansas and UGA pretty close at home.

UGA is clearly a better team than us right now. They controlled the entire game against us, have a much better defense and are better coached. If we don't get our **** together they will be beating us for years to come.

I'm not disagreeing with you on UGA being a better team than Tennessee. They are definitely better coached and more talented.

But I also dont see them being any better than 5-5 if they had Tennessee's SEC West schedule.

Like I said they are extremely lucky to be able to get Ole Miss and Miss State in the same season every few years. Does Tennessee, Florida or South Carolina ever have the luxury of having those two on the schedule in the same season?

We play Kentucky this week. Sorry but I don't follow the point you are trying to make.

**** my bad. im studying micro right now and its blowing my mind up. I hope you dont take what I say as personal. Georgia is a great team this year, and should be. They have the talent, coaches, facilities, and schedule to get where they are. In my mind, Richt has bought himself another 2 years.

All in good fun. I always enjoy talking football with rival fanbases.:salute:

Think of it like this.. AJ Green and your 2010 season. What happened when your stubby qb had his target back on the field?

Explosion and endurance are two differant things....that's why 100m Olympic champ Donovan Bailey was blowing 2 time world record holder and Olympic champ Michael Johnson off the track in a 150m race before Johnson pulled up lame to try to save face

Kinda old to be quoting this, but Bailey wasn't exactly blowing him off the track. They were almost stride for stride though Bailey was starting to pull ahead so maybe he did fake the injury.
