Wow, no hitter broken up with 2 outs in the 9th on a homer that went over the scoreboard. That ball was hammered.

A part of me just wanted to ignore the game, but it was such a big game and with Soto starting...so I listened to the first inning in the car...went about my business...next I heard it was like 9-5...then much to my dismay AM 990 was broadcasting the Smokies game...but they said we were up 14-5...then I came home, read the thread and now I'm watching Benito with 2 away, man on first in the B2...He K's...:)

I am at least going to watch the 6 run...oh nevermind, don't want to spoil it for you. :)

Soto pitched really well. He probably should have come out after the 7th, but I like letting him come out and try to get through another inning with such a big lead - he earned that. Plus, you should be able to rely on your bullpen to shut it down at that point, but...well, you will see for yourself.

Glad Zach is going tomorrow. That strategy looks pretty good right now.

If Soto keeps going like this and cox gets back on track this will be a dangerous team. This weekend is very important but I'm starting to think this team squeaks into a regional team.
