I low key think we will boat race Mizzou again. Defense seems pedestrian. Offense underperforming.

I thought this game was more about Georgia looking blehhh than Mizzou looking good. Huepel has had no problem scoring on Drink's defenses. I don't see it changing either. And wouldn't understand Mizzou bring favored. We probably jump them in the rankings.

If it was at home, the Vols would probably be slightly favored. I am hoping this loss demoralizes the mizzou fans next week.

We’ll find out a lot about Mizzou as a program, not just a team, and about Drinkwitz as a head coach next week. If they can get up off the mat and beat us or make it a close game, that will be impressive. There’s a universe in which this loss deflates them and we abuse them next week.

I think our offense has improved and our defense has been stagnant. Mizzou is going to get some points on our secondary. We're going to get some points on them. It's a shootout, IMO.

What I HOPE is that we don't see the Josh Heupel who got a lead on Bama then played not to lose...... and lost. That's not on the team, that's on the coach.

Honestly, I think the team can beat Mizzou. I'm less sure the coach TRUSTS the team to beat Mizzou. The team lost to FL. The coach didn't trust the team to beat Alabama.

The team needs to beat Missouri and the coach needs to believe the team can do it.

How healthy are they after this game? Is Burden able to go? Tennessee should be mostly rested since we played a glorified scrimmage.

In current form, I would take Milton over Cook by a landslide. Milton finding his legs to run the ball is so much more impactful than we think.

Of course. Missouri had previously been one of the…rougher draws for CBS when it comes to showing games.**

Part of the reason they show them yearly as the day after Thanksgiving game, so that they can claim the network actually does show their games.

** or at least - in CBS’s minds - after the 2 games in 2012 they chose to show them in; the rating numbers were so bad that they flat out refused to show them in 2013 - despite them being ranked in the top 5 for half of the season - until they were forced to in the SEC Championship Game (at one point they had a ranked vs ranked matchup between Florida and Missouri and chose to show Vanderbilt instead…but that’s also the ratings impression you’re going to get by deciding in 2012 to show South Carolina and Missouri as your game of the week).

You can’t have OPI on a screen pass. If the ball didn’t cross the line, there’s no flag. I don’t know if where the ball landed is reviewable, but it’s the kind of bright line, no judgment call that makes sense to review.
