07 UF would win comfortably. You are talking about a seasoned group that included 4 big bodies, an NBA all-star, a good NBA player, and a solid NBA player and a veteran backcourt. If this UK crew stuck around another year, it might be a different story.

The most laughable part of this thread was the question about Matt Walsh and an NBA career. That guy was awful. Awful.

2006-07 UF were much better in the Tournament than during the season. When this thread was started, I assumed we were comparing the teams based more on their postseasons.

And, Pearl's 2007 bunch would have stood a great chance against 2012 UK at Thompson-Boling.

I agree with this. Pearl's 2007 group statistically was one of the best teams college ball had in the 2000's.

I still have nightmares of that damn ohio state game in that 4 year span.

Kinda funny really, they beat us when we were more talented, we beat them when they were more talented...
