' 13 FL CB Mackensie Alexander

even after de-committing, he still maintains the Vols are still in it with him.

"I talk to the defensive backs coach, the head coach, the defensive coordinator, the recruiting coordinator. I talk to everybody, pretty much. The Vols are still up there," Alexander said.

"This is a slow process for me. I once committed to them and I'm still interested in Tennessee so we'll see. I'm still interested in them and Tennessee's not out of anything. I think they've got a real shot of landing me all over again. It's just all what I'm feeling right now." ]
also says things are "good" with him and ut and we're in his top ten. Also says he is still hoping for a package deal with mackenro.

He also said he would like to play with his bro but as it stands now he will more than likely end up somewhere else. We sound like a long shot but if he takes an ov here I hope he changes his mind.

Here's his quote on playing with his bro...

"We hope to play together. But, if we don't, we don't. It all depends on what kind of situation he's in and what kind on situation I'm in. Right now it's looking like we're not going to play together. But, it all depends on the situation," Alexander said. "We've taken some visits together, but it will be fine. Like, is there a situation where I can play early and he can't? I don't want him to take that."

That makes me now understand his visit to UK and the interest there, he probably figures that his brother could get early PT at a place like UK.

Is hinshaw still after this guy? He is my fav recruiter. We lost aj Johnson and got him back, if we win a few big games we still have a shot imo

"Tennessee's right there..." - MacKensie Alexander 1 day ago.
MacKensie's keeping it interesting. Wouldn't surprise me if he comes full circle on Feb 06, 2013.

I think he's the type of recruit that can be pulled with a good season. Would make my day to add this kid. Would be interesting to see which CB duo is the best between us and Florida if he comes here.

Florida: Roberson and VH3

Tennessee: Mack and Bonner(unless Coleman messes things up in a good way)

Would be good times in my eyes.

Wish it could have been Ramsey-Alexander, but we found out he was a west coast traitor

"I seen a couple schools, but right now for me nothing really jumped out too much so far from what I’ve seen. There were some good places I went and seen in the summer, but I just haven’t seem them all yet. I got to compare them all together.”

“Right now it’s holding off,” Alexander said of a commitment. “I got to see a couple schools that I haven’t seen this summer. I’m going to go see them. I’m not promising nobody anything, but there are a couple schools I want to go see before I make this decision.”

Says he hears from Notre Dame , Clemson, Alabama and Boise State the most.

Luke did the interview and posted on 247: Look for Clemson to get an official visit and if I had to throw a guess out there, they would be the school I said had the edge. An OV to Southern California is possible, but he did state they may also be full right now. He also mentioned Boise State more than once and when I questioned him on that he quickly responded their DB coach worked for the Tampa Buccaneers last year and he liked that NFL pedigree. As crazy and outlandish some of the stuff he says, it's like there is a method to his madness (or he can at least get you to somewhat buy his reasoning).
