Dude has no idea where he's going. I have a feeling we're going to read stories a year from now about Alexander announcing his transfer.

I said this exact thing a few weeks ago but got flamed by that idiot Ron Swanson.

He knows what's in his heart and he shared it early before decomitting. He will find his way back to the Vols and his home and be an immediate stud on campus.

You lost me bro. Please elaborate. If I'm 18 years old and have the opportunity to be an immediate stud on and off the field...You lost me dude. I don't get it.

There is a difference between playing time and being depended on to help turn around a historically awful defense. Most freshmen are not ready to contribute in that way.

Being integrated as the season progresses is better for everyone in most cases.

Maybe he could handle the workload or maybe he gets his ass torched every Saturday because he's not ready to be that guy yet.

I think he would be comfy with a healthy McNeil and Lawson to keep those big meanies off of him. Are you freaking serious? This is the SEC! You better bring your best... loaded with azz day one! You sound like a concerned Mom...I would throw rocks at you but I don't want to hurt your sensitive feelings.

How much history have you seen or read dummy? Haynesworth and Henderson...the two best DTs in the history of CFB...Reggie, Hacksaw, Dale, Al, Eric, Mayo...tons more to mention...just stupid dude!

I think he meant more along the lines that our defense was one of the worst in history.

Could be but our players are pretty solid IMHO...4-3 players in a 3-4 defense, coached by a complete idiot. With his lack of adjustments and concession...Sal was the biggest fail ever!

Or he just tells these sites anything and he has every idea where he wants to go

Maybe he has always had every idea where he would go, and is why his recruitment has been such a circus. Does he have one more OV left? If so, this board would blow up if he showed up on the Hill this weekend, and came full circle to where we were with him a year ago. Is it going to happen? Probably not, but would be monumental if it did.

I'm guessing Miss St here...usually there is fire when smoke starts rolling that someone committed on a visit.

One year doesn't constitute a historically awful defense.

I'm pretty sure GahLee meant last years defense being the all time worst. JMO

This.

If he had said "historically, we have a bad defense" it would have meant that our defense always blows. But the way he phrased it - "a historically bad defense" means the defense was one of the worst in history . . . which is an accurate statement. Semantics.

Now, back to this supremely talented DB that isn't going to sign with Tennessee . . .

+1

He's not coming here. His recruitment has been a funny one to watch though. I'm calling it. By noon today, San Jose State is leading.

Sure thing guy.

Did UT not have the worst defense in school history last year? Or did I imagine that nightmare?
