'13 FL RB Derrick Henry (Bama commit)

According to ESPN, Derrick Green (4.31) is a lot faster than both of them.

Alvin Kamara (4.55) is faster than both of these guys too.

Taylor is no doubt the slowest of the 4 but he does have the best vision out of the group. Based on the 40 times, Henry is just as fast as Kamara and weighs almost 50 lbs more which makes it even more impressive. Kamara does get through the whole faster than Henry though. Green has the worst hands of the bunch and doesnt look like a guy that ran a 4.31 40 based on his film but he probably has the most upsides of the bunch along with Kamara.

Interesting. Taylor and Lane are probably the two slowest RBs that UF has recruited in a decade--and UF fans are more excited about them than any RBs I can remember.

Well Taylor does have everything but elite speed, he does all the little things well, similar to Marcus Lattimore who also doesnt have the elite speed. He is one of the most complete backs in the class and UF is getting a very good one.

That's great. Maybe you 2 can find a thread to talk about Florida and Bama's RB recruits somewhere other than a UT recruiting forum. Thanks!

Guess u overlook the fact that Kamara and Green were in the discussion as well. Nice try though. Reading before posting would be the smart thing to do sometimes.

Realizing you are on a Vol message board would be a smart thing to do as well.

Thread title says "'13 FL RB Derrick Henry (Bama Commit)" - what do you suggest be discussed here????? :cray:

Do you want to continue talking about a Bama commit on an active recruiting forum? Personally like to see this thread die or move to the Around the NCAA section.

Realizing this is Derrick Henry's thread and that you dont run this site is another thing you need to look into. If you continue to have issues after realizing the fact, ignore the thread.

I could really care less to see Henrys thread keep being bumped to the top. Dude is heading to TTown. We will get our guy, and next year we won't even remember who Henry is. He'll be hugging the coaches after UT gets the W in Tuscaloosa.. crying, wishing he had came to Tennessee. I agree he will be a special player, but there are many special players in front of him. Good luck to him. Move on.

And once we win he'll transfer on the spot and ride back to knoxville with the team.

Just saw this on ESPN recruiting nation. It is Alabama's predicted RB depth chart for 2013. Its crazy that they have this much RB depth.

1. Eddie Lacy Sr.
2. T.J. Yeldon Soph.
3. Dee Hart RS-Soph.
4. Kenyan Drake Soph.
5. Blake Sims RS-Jr.
6. Jalston Fowler Sr.
7. Trey Roberts Soph. (recruited walk-on)
*8. Tyren Jones Frosh.
*9. Altee Tenpenny Frosh.
*10. Derrick Henry Frosh.

*2013 incoming class

this is just informational and may not be the correct order, but they will have all these backs competing for PT

6. Tyren Jones Soph.
7. Altee Tenpenny Soph.
8. Derrick Henry Soph.

And in good shape for Fournette, Vickers, Michel, and Hurd. Where maybe one of those 4 could also be a freshman that year.

That's a nice list but you know that 3 or 4 of those guys listed will either switch positions or transfer out of the program after this season.
