'13 GA CB Shaq Wiggins (Transferring to UT)

Most freshmen CBs do get lit up. Wouldn't be surprised if Langley turns out.

That's your opinion. Mine is I don't think he's very good.

Kid is slow. He should play safety and I know he got moved there this spring. But their secondary is so thin that he may have to play CB. I'm sorry but he's just not a good CB.

Georgia cornerback Shaq Wiggins released a statement Friday night to 247Sports' Kipp Adams about his decision to transfer after one season ...
"First of all, (the) University of Georgia is a great school and I would like to thank Coach Richt and his staff for the opportunity to play at Georgia. When you are new to an organization, it’s extremely important to have the right fit. I love football and want to reach my highest potential. Therefore, after careful thought and much consideration, I believe that it is in the best interest of all parties that we part ways.
"I am looking for a team who will embrace my personality, someone who is a jovial, carefree and a bit of a jokester but who knows when to put jokes aside, get focused and become a true competitor, especially when on the field.
"I want to learn, and I want someone who can channel my energy and enthusiasm to take my game to the next level."

Putting that language in a statement announcing your transfer is a huge lapse of judgment. He's basically announcing to every NFL team, "Hey, I'm an uncoachable quitter."

Was my first thought when thinking he would have to go outside SEC. Back with his boy TG

No kidding, Louisville made a great hire with TG when you think of the fringe benefits. As many players as UGA has to dismiss annually, they could potentially stock up on some talent. First Josh Harvey-Clemmons, now possibly Shaq Wiggins...more to come, I'm sure. I just hate that for UGA.

Why do you hate that for Georgia? I personally love it. Glad it is someone else besides us for a change.

Under....because we are going to rush for 200+, too. :)

Might be hard to get 200+ on the ground & 300 plus through the air when Wharton & Pearson score on punt & kickoff returns & the offense is not on the field for many series. For whatever reason we usually win the special teams game against Jawja.

Didn't factor that in. :hi: :)

Yeah, it was a very strange statement to put out there. Pruitt came in and ruffled some feathers, of course everybody will respond differently. I wouldn't be surprised if somebody else decides to leave.

Was this taken from an online dating profile?
