Part of the issue here is SW. Part of the issue is reporters for websites that need lots of hits to justify their existence. I think SW is a Vol, and now the reporters are just trying to gin up interest to keep people coming back.

My father told me years ago that you don't really become an adult until your parents are gone. At that point it's all about you and your decisions, no more calling the "adults" for advice. I'm 44 and he's still living so I can still blame him for me choosing to be a total idiot at times, right?

I think it's more of a case by case basis. A 21 year old being shot at in the desert would more than likely fall into the adult category, while a college kid getting a free education to play a kids game may not qualify. That being said, I hope all of this nonsense goes away when Wiggins steps on campus and enrolls in class. The battered women in this thread have really been a buzzkill.

I for one am not freaking out. We weren't counting on this guy anyway. It was just a bonus to get extra qualified, and talented help at a position of need..but by this point in his career, he has shown he is a flake. I hope he comes on in, but if he doesn't...Oh well. I don't think that necessarily makes him immature, or a bad person.

Over the next few days, all eyes and ears will be on Shaq Wiggins. Wiggins continues to converse with Austin and has been consistent in saying he is coming to Knoxville. Mississippi State definitely had some confidence last weekend after getting Wiggins to campus, but Tennessee has remained just as confident, as Wiggins has spoken at length with Charlton Warren and Butch Jones throughout the past few days.
