No one knows. So you shouldn't conclude that he witnessed it. I agree that Lawson has to know that it happened. Witnessing it is another unanswered question.

They recruits hang out with players while on visits, at parties etc... Chances are good it was not around coaches or recruits, just a few players met up like when Tiny showed Carl around campus.

I'm sure a guy with a history of saying the n-word wasn't touring Reuben around. Most of the time you get a personable guy from the same position to do that. Not a scumbag.

Could have been a random meeting at a party or locker room. Who's to say Carl wasn't there though?
