Wow I thought he recruited better than that, seemed like he had pulled some good players, I must be thinking back too far.

Haven't been impressed with him really at all, and thought it wast as good of a hire as many thought at the time.

That's ok though, with him struggling it makes recruiting the state of Georgia that much easier, and that's a talent rich state.

While this is true, we still need to have Fox be somewhat mediocre and stay at UGA. I can't imagine having a great recruiter at UGA along with (never would have thought this) Brian Gregory at GTech. The state of GA has always been good to us and we still need a strong pipeline there. Seems like Counzo is making progress in GA with AJ Davis and the AAU connections there.

Good point, kind of like pastner at memphis. Hahaha I kid...kind of.

We are in on a lot of GA guys in the 2014 class, getting Davis should only help.

should be committing to uga shortly.
Committed to FSU tonight. Recruiting bigs continues to be Fox's Achilles' heel, with Dwight Coleby also committing to Ole Miss (over Memphis) tonight. He'll probably have to settle for another marginal project again.

Gators beat me to it haha. ZJC is gonna be bummed, he was holding hope on this one I think.

Missed the Coleby committment last night, that was an odd one...back and forth, delaying announcement, setting announcement, announcing early...weird rents.

Haha, I thought of you as soon as I saw it. FSU with a nice recruiting weekend, Rathan-Mayes and now Smith...little side not is wiggins and RM are good friends(both from Canada) and play on the same HS team...wiggins is down to UK and FSU...both parents are FSU alums....many think wiggins to UK is a lock, but this could play a role...just thought id share, be nice to see Cal miss one.

Their fathers also played for Philly together in the pros.

Yup, I've been saying that awhile.

Add in a possibility of randle and forget it, you're talking a recruiting class with 4 guys who could could top 5 in the nba draft.
I can't see Randle and Wiggins going to the same school, though. If Wiggins reclassifies and goes to UK, I think Randle would go to Texas or Florida.

If Wiggins goes to FSU, chances are he'd stay in the class of 2014. UK would definitely have the edge if he went to 2013.

Disagree on a lot of this, but it's jmo

I'm not sure why you can't see them going to the same school, both play completely different positions...

And I actually think if wiggins reclassifies it gives FSU the edge...wiggins an X are great friends and have wanted to play together. X is 2013, if you're gonna go to FSU may as well go in 2013 to play with your boy instead of wait...

All jmo

They're both combo forwards. They could coexist, as they do technically play different positions, but their games aren't that dissimilar. If they go to the same school, their frontline might be a little bit too stacked for their own good. That's all just my meaningless opinion, though.

About the 2013/14 thing, I really have no clue. That's just what I've been seeing repeated by the big outlets for a few months. XRM's commitment may have definitely changed things.

Gotcha. And yea, that's what was being said, but X to FSU throws a new aspect into the mix many didn't see coming months ago.
