He said a 4 star safety from Texas and he knows a guy that coaches Miles so most assume thats who it is. Plust we were in the top 3 for him already. Recruiting is crazy though, so it could be someone else.

^^^^ This. That is why it is hard to discuss recruiting sometimes on this board. Matthews, Wiggins, Kitt and Glass are all close. They are all very solid commits, that continue to help recruit others to UGA. None of them are "tired of the Athens scene". Anyone giving you false hope that UT could flip one of them, you should probably stop listening to them.

Define steal? Does the player have to be committed? I'd consider Croom a "steal.".

I don't see like anybody acting like it is the norm, just saying it has happened before in response to the UGA homers say that there is no chance

I think they have to committed to steal from them. You can call Croom a steal, but we stole him from the rest of the country, not just Georgia.

It's a fine line. I don't think I can accurately put it in words.

Dooley has not done well at all getting Georgia players that UGA wanted. Darick is the only one and Kiffin got that one started and Dooley closed it.

UGA first targeted CJ Curry early in the process. But his recruiter left, and so did he. We then went after (and got) Blake Tibbs. Then we found out Jaquay would qualify and went after him hard up to NSD. We never showed any true interest towards Croom and definitely never offered.

I dont know why though. I always thought Croom was the best WO in-state from start to finish. Bebe Thomas 2.0 iyam. cant teach that size and speed/athleticism

This is a UT forum, and if our fans want to get on here and hoot and holler and give fans from other schools a hard time, then that's fine with me. That's what it's all about. We don't have to pretend like we're a bunch of sophisticates all the time. Give 'em hell, guys!

I agree, I don't think he was offered. I could be wrong, but the reason I made that statement was because MZTERRY mentioned them being approached by UGA, and they said thanks but no thanks.

Like I said before. I will not comment on a post unless it has to do with Tennessee and guys they are recruiting.
Matthews, Wiggins, Glass and Kitt are all solid to Georgia.
Tennessee has legitimate shots at Henry, Bell and Kamara. Nothing more and nothing less. Kitt and Glass are 14 guys so there is still a very long way to go. It would not surprise me if Kitt wavered in the process but Glass is as solid as they come.
