You pose a tough hypothetical, but damn that! All Vols around here. Out of conference is a different story though. USC, TOSU, Texas and some of the other OOC schools are fine. But I personally wretch at the thought of one of my boys playing for Florida or Bama or Georgia. Couldn't stand it, at all. Grounds for dis-ownment. -- One thing is abundantly clear however. That is the fact that Saban is clearly on top of the game right now. We will be at the Alabama (and other enemy camps too) for sure, without a doubt. But actually attending the school of the enemy, NEGATIVE.

I'm not saying go to Bama but I just wanted to prove a point. Lol for the record I wouldn't let Saban(if he was still at Bama) recruit my kid if I had one that was big time. I would let him go to any school but the Tide. I hate that damn school. I like certain players from there(Nico Johnson, Hightower, Trent Richardson, D.Milner) but I hate that school. Florida is a close second on my shxt list. UGA is a bit different seeing that I met Coach Richt and can understand why a kid would play for him. I like Kiffin's style of ball(guy can coach as much as you hate him). I wouldn't make a decision for my kid but I wouldn't allow Alabama to recruit my kid unless that was his only big time offer(which I doubt if Saban offers).

Anywhere outside the league is fine. -- I think people are mad at Kiffin for doing us like he did. As an offensive coach and recruiter, he is fine with me. The only decision I made for the 1st of my three boys is as follows "Florida and Alabama and Georgia are out of the question". As far as whether to play football or basketball, that is up to each one of them individually. To each his own, but no........... Vanderbilt is an option for obvious reasons, but I would hope not.

so u guys think this kid is lock pretty much? any idea when he pulls the trigger? would be a nice boost after the alexander decommit

Every boy dreams/pretends he is playing for his favorite team. Even pretends to be a certain player when he's out outside playing with his buddies. This is like a little girl playing house.

Things change...sure. Teams are doing better...sure. But if the team u've followed comes calling it makes a difference. Of course he may enjoy the process, but UT will be there at the end (sign him or not) because he was a fan growing up.

I don't think he's a lock. That's an overused term on message boards. I don't think he commits to us, if we are the favorites, until right before his season starts, or even after his season. He's one of the best DBs in the country getting offers from everyone. Kids like him have earned the right to enjoy the process.

Maybe some of us are just different fans, but when I was kid, I wanted nothing more then to play for the Vols. And if I had his talent, I would have already committed. But your right maybe he is taking a more business like approach by putting his fandom to the side.

No doubt there are kids who dream of playing for their favorite team. Y'all are absolutely right about that. That's what makes me so mad about the ones who make it, and throw it in the garbage.

Anyway, back to Bell.

Bell should be releasing his favorites soon and I'm pretty confident AU will be in the Top 3.

I guess you guys can call it a good moral victory if he puts you in his top 3, because deep down we all know who is #1 on his list. He may just come out and say that his top 3 are Tennessee, the Vols, and UTK.
