2011 season wrapup: Bell was a first-team all-state selection for a 7-5 Class AAA playoff team. He finished with more than 100 tackles and 1,000 all-purpose yards. He scored 14 touchdowns, including three on fumble recoveries.

Lol..He is nothing but a Vol.

I hope he is a VOL. He would be a big time playmaker for sure. I just don't buy into he is all VOL and has always been like some claim. There have been alot of VOL locks of late, and they are all VOL locks until they announce for the other team. Just because the kid is from Tennessee, does not mean he see's the Vols the same way we fans do. "He is just waiting to see if we win or not". Like Herron, Ramsey, Hatcher, and others. These kids are not waiting around to see if we can be competative again.

Dont buy into the "shock people" announcement. When a recruit says that, its about 99% certain they go where everyone expects them to.

Vol

Vonn bell attends ridgeland high school. I went to LFO and they are our rivals. My football coach as a freshman is his coach now. Mariakis. And yes Da'Rick went to calhoun (in Georgia) which won state last year and are supposed to be a power house again

I put a little pressure on the principle from Ridgeland thisam. Told him I was going to post on volnation that he was going to deliver Von Bell to the orange nation.HEs a great guy and said he would do all he could for us.

Ranked 171 in the updated Rivals 250

Who in the hell is covering the Southeast for Rivals? Their rankings are horrendous. This guy dominated at every camp he went to, picked up offers from every elite program in the country, Rivals themselves have bragged on how great a summer he's had and he is at 171? It's the same thing with Maybin. They bragged on him too this summer and he didn't get a bump either.
