I was under the impression if you go to juco for reasons other than academic you can transfer to a d1 school after 1 year. It's if you go to juco because you couldn't qualify, see Chris jones, that you have to stay for atleast 2 years.
Byron Moore & Mo Couch came from Juco and had 3 years of elgibility left, so obviously you are correct.
Moore started off at USC. That first year of college counted was the equivalent of the first year of JUCO. Since he had red-shirted at USC, he still had three years to play 4 after JUCO. Couch was hurt and red-shirted his first year of JUCO, again leaving him 3 years to play 4 after JUCO.

Looks like a similar path. Red-shirted at Oregon, played one year of JUCO getting his associates degree (with Oregon credits counting for his first year), then came to Tennessee with 3 to play 3.And Rivera?
