He wasn't going to have to "walk-on" bc he would be awarded a Bright Futures Scholarship... the only problem comes on the road when he doesn't get Per diem for meals. More about him being concerned with playing time with the two transfer bigs next season.

“@Coast2CoastHoop: Kuran Iverson down to Memphis and Florida. Florida looking good.”

Fwiw c2c is pretty good, if they say something they're usually right.

What is that? If its not an athletic scholarship then I'm pretty sure it's not allowed. If you're recruited you can't receive other scholarships or grants, they have rules for all that.

Just relaying

As i said, they're pretty good and everything I've seen them call has been right so far.

Memphis insiders think we've got a pretty good shot too. He just OV'd over the weekend, I saw him at the Liberty Bowl. Despite a horrid football game, he supposedly had a great visit and will announce in the next few weeks.

not true...player can sign academic scholarships over athletic ones. The BF sholarhship is for HS student that meet certain gpa/test score and community service hours that is funded by Fla Lottery.

You're sure about that? I've heard if you're recruited that's not allowed. Thus the reason Tennessee can't put players on the HOPE scholarship.

“@GoodmanCBS: Florida decommit Schuyler Rimmer will visit USC this weekend, source told CBSSports. Vandy, Stanford, Tennessee also involved.”

Not sure on extent, maybe just a call, but worth watching.

Rob Lewis said that Rimmer doesn't have a commitable UT offer with Davis now on board, and with JW3 and Nichols still big possibilities.

Rob also said that UT would take both JW3 and Nichols, sign all 5 players and sort the numbers out later.

What I've been saying for awhile, and orangelo...you guys just didn't wanna listen.

CCM has put a lot into these 5 guys and all have committable offers, nobody else does. It's likely one of j3 and Nichols goes elsewhere, but you better believe if both want to be here WE WILL MAKE ROOM!
