(13) Princeton vs. (4) Kentucky

Why in the world with 2 seconds to go would you ever in bound the ball 80 feet from the basket? Throw a hail mary or something.

They almost didn't inbound the ball on time. I think he did it because they were out of timeouts and he didn't want to turn it over.

It's tough to beat Big Blue and their rabid fan base...plus the cowed, intimidated officials who give most close calls to UK.

It broke my heart to see those nerds lose today.

I thought Kentucky should have fouled on the inbounds pass to force another throw-in and waste time. They had like, 4 fouls to give.

No a Calipari strength. Memphis disnt have to vacate a title because his guys couldn't foul.

NBA teams do that all the time, but college teams rarely ever seem to pull that off.

24 + 24 is under a minute, but 35 + 35 is over, complicating the mental math. Maybe that's the difference?

Although it's really just if you have the ball, you want to get a shot somewhere around 45-50 seconds to go, so maybe not.

NBA plays a lot more games and have double the 2-for-1 chances too (4 quarters vs. 2 halves).

There aren't very many good plays 94' from the basket with 2 seconds left. Putting Jones on the ball defensively narrows that number further.
