Texas, California, and Florida are states that everyone tries to get players from. Deep talent pool. Sometimes you get "Santosed," but sometimes you keep a great committ.

Prestonwood is not anything close to a powerhouse. Take this guy with a grain of salt.

And we have historically down really well recruiting in Texas havent we? Get real dude. I hope McNeil works out but our success in Texas has been mixed at best. Spend more time in the Carolinas for crissakes.

I mean honestly, stealing any of these kids from TX is difficult, but when you do, it's definitely worth it. Why not spend your time there? McNeil was one of the nations premier safeties...I'm all for getting more kids like him. Just my opinion.

Everyone forgets the kid Ahmad Dixon who we had committed. Boy is playing good ball for Baylor's trash defense. D.Moore is from Texas also. We need to go after the best players no matter where they're located.

This should be priority number 1 for the coaches and I believe they have been trying to do just that.

This kid ran a 4.3 40 at the Sparq combine.

Any update or is this a typical Texas kid and we have a snowball's chance?

This. Many feel a commit to tOSU is coming before the end of summer. He's set to visit FSU and UF later this month. He's from Fl and moved to Tx a few years ago. His teammate is committed to FSU.

Best Linebacker at the opening IMO. His recruitment will blow up even more than it already has.

Why so many FL kids fall in love with O$U still amazes me. I don't see the appeal of spending 4 yrs in Columbus, not to mention wasting your talent in their slow, grinding games. I'd actually take Belle Glade over Columbus any day of the week.
