Best Linebacker at the opening IMO. His recruitment will blow up even more than it already has.

yeah he was the best LB as far as the numbers he put up there but the best LB in attendance was Reuben Foster.

not sure bro...some talk that M Thomas and Jaylon will jump Ruben on the next set of rankings. At least at 247.

combine numbers are good and all but when you look at film, none of them are as instinctive, explosive and gets to the ball like Reuben does and thats where it really matters. the other guys, such jaylon are better in coverage but that is expected since reuben doesnt drop back in coverage alot in highschool and of course he is alot bigger than the guys mentioned. prototypical MLB. jmo.

Reuben needs to prove that he can actually play LB at his current weight. He showed up heavy, and everyone was talking about his prototype size... and then he goes and injures himself because he can't carry that much weight and play LB.

If he's not careful, he'll end up at DE. That wouldn't be the worst thing, but for a guy of his skill set, he needs to keep his weight down and dominate at MLB. It's not smart to eat himself out of the position.

he was already dealing with an injury before he got there so of course he wasnt going to be in as good of shape as the rest. he definitely doesnt need to gain anymore weight. if he stays committed then we will be in one of the best conditioning programs in the country which should help alot.

Thomas and Smith are definitely on his level in regards to instincts and diagnosis the difference is the fact that reuben has a college ready body right now and the other two do not. And those 3 are so much better than mitchell it isn't even funny

If he was already dealing with an injury, why on earth would he decide to do the combine testing? Not smart.

they are not on the same level as Reuben in those 2 aspects (instincts and reading plays). what makes Smith special is his agility and ability to play in space, but he is no where near as strong as Reuben. Thomas is very athletic as well and has very good range but he is still a little raw and not as technically sound as the other 2, he does have great upsides though, maybe more upsides than the other 2. Mitchell issue is that he is a bit stiff, lacks instincts, has some problems redirecting, just terrible footwork, very raw player at this point, he is better at shedding blocks than Smith and Thomas but he is no where near the football player they are. more of a combine guy than anything
