David Poole is a moron. listen to his radio show on SIRIUS, talk about a waste of air. his opion is about as worthless as the paper it was printed on.

also, i have already e-mail Newton tell him what a schmuck he is (nicely).

i don't care that you don't like the columnists, that wasn't the issue at hand. The fact was that you didn't think the racing was bad there, while most people who watched the race, including the guys who get paid to cover it, thought it was.

so is that why the whole PRN crew was slobering at mouth over the new track surface for not only the Cup race, but the Busch race as well? i also saw a good write up in the Knoxville paper as well.

and honestly, i'm seeing more about the COT and the tire compound being the issue than i am the race track.

i'm smarter than everybody else and i'm going to do or say whatever it takes to prove it, no matter how stupid it makes me sound.

add to that also, NASCAR sould listen to only me in regards to the sport because they have no idea what they're doing and i do.

well, that's your opinion on him.

nevertheless, the main point is that those guys thought the racing was bad, especially at the front, and a lot of fans did as well. Bristol is no longer Bristol.... what made it famous was bumping a guy out of the way and drivers being pissed off and people ready to leave. Now, there are no guys mad, no bumping to pass and guys looking forward racing there. That's not what made Bristol famous.

the racing wasn't bad at the front because of the new surface. the racing was bad at the front because for the first half Kahne couldn't be touched and for the second half, Edwards was the same way.

Bob Osborne on the radio right now is talking about how much fun Carl said he had because he could actually race other drivers. he said it was nice to be able to go around cars, not over them. racing is is about going around cars. they brought racing back to Bristol. you honestly think drivers like having to bump each other out of the way?

and everybody seems to want to forget, so i'll say it again, that the last two night races at Bristol and maybe even this years spring race were complete yawnfests.

the fact the TV covergae sucked (i hope to see the replay today or later this week) is a shame and didn't do what i saw THERE justice.

it very well could have been different in person, i don't know, i wasnt there, and the TV coverage was very bad, which may have aided in how bad it looked on TV.

People complain when there are too many wrecks and cautions and people complain when there is actual racing going on. Go figure!

I thought the RACING at Bristol was great!
