Kid can not get through the clearinghouse but has a 3.5 GPA at Alabama. Sure says a lot about the academics at Alabama. But what else would you expect? They got Lacy in school.

It would be interesting to see SI or 60 Minutes investigate what is going on in Tuscaloosa.

As I said he got through the 1st time. The NCAA clearinghouse cleared him only to come back 9 months later after completing college courses to say they will not except a web based course he took in HS his junior year. It is not like he took it over the summer and they needed to still look at it. He took the course. A year later the clearinghouse clears him. Nine moths later he finishes summer courses at college and the NCAA comes back and says no to a course he took 2 years prior after already saying OK on it.

And unless we are talking about academics at Vandy I will not put to much into to any other program in the SEC and recruiting scholars.
