'14 AL RB Bo Scarbrough

My brother played him in football his sophomore year, he said he was hurt so he got like 4 carries and took like 3 to the house, best RB he had ever seen

Isn't he a big question mark, as to whether he will qualify?

Word is he still has some work to do in the classroom but looks to be on track to graduate in the spring. Has been visiting FSU lately and Ole Miss is selling the farm to him. Our sites are reporting if UA gets another RB in the class Bo will go elsewhere. Apparently he wants to be the one RB for a class. Plus Bo has not been happy with our pursuit of LF who we seem to be moving up on(still a very long shot) and who will take his OV this weekend to UA. LF will announce at the Allstar game.

FSU seems to be a real threat right now and he and Winston are friends. Not to mention he is very close to Pruitt at FSU who recruited him to UA.

SIAP, but I find it interesting that many on here think Hurd is too big to play running back, but I doubt very seriously if they would have the same problem with Scarbrough playing RB. The difference is 1 inch and 8 pounds. Basically the same build.

Based on this info, do not want. :birgits_giggle:

Both have proven in HS they can play RB and if what they have done in HS can translate to CFB both will be 3 and out headed to the NFL.

8lb for that inch? Huge get imo

Well he and Winston can be friends for a year before Jameis goes to the league.

Will Bama pull Fournette or is he all LSU?

bo scarbrough
6-2, 225 pounds
img academy, bradenton, fla.
247sports composite rating: Five stars (0.9885)

the five-star athlete has been committed to alabama since september 2012, but ut and a number of other teams have continued to recruit him over the past several months. He already has taken official visits to ole miss, notre dame and ucla, and tennessee quietly has positioned itself to have a chance of getting one of his final two visits. He’s probably a long shot for the vols as long as he remains committed to alabama, but ut isn’t ready to give up on him.

Some of our sites seem to think 70/30 LSU, I am not sure it
is that high but the staff is putting the full press on him and his OV this weekend will be telling. Meaning if we have any shot we will know Monday. Most of our big commits who have been recruiting will be here this weekend as well.

Those people are idiots that look at rivals profile measurements without bothering to watch him play. Anyone that has seen Hurd play in person has zero doubts in his ability to play RB. I have seen him live and he is a freaking animal.

So, this may have been discussed already, but is this guy the "big fish" UT makes a run at before NSD, fans think their is a legit shot, and UT unfortunately misses out?....for reference or those new to the board see Timmy Jernigan (2011), Carl Lawson (2012), etc.
