As embarrassing as it is. He may play with UT on video games to prove he is a good player. I remember back in the day, I would play with some terrible teams so when I beat people, they would feel even worse.

i think he plays with UT because the "battle greys" as they're called on NCAA 14 look awesome on there. can't be because of our players ratings.. cam Sutton is the most criminally underrated freshman I've ever seen on that game.... /rant *steps off soap box*

Why won't this thread die. We are less than one week away from a great signing class and the tread at the top is a player that eliminated us.. Come on fellas, let's start looking at our future VFLs.

I love this thread. We all pretty much know it won't happen, but that .1% chance is enough to keep us interested till signing day. Cue the gif, 'so you're telling me theres a chance'.....

Yeah, no one does desperate hope better than VN. But if this was a smokescreen, I think OH's sources would be hinting such, instead of basically calling it over.

yeah I agree. It would just be the most amazing announcement ever if he did pick us after eliminating us earlier on. One of the first true shock the world announcements. But not happening more than likely.

Just for ish and giggles, if Adoree' did pick us after eliminating us, and we had gone ahead and recruited an extra DT for that spot (Sawyers), does Butch make room for Adoree' or tell him sorry, no room? I know lots of us have said you make room for Adoree', but would we really? My guess would be after misleading the staff and then cutting us, Butch would tell Adoree' "too bad, so sad."

I do find it interesting that after Adoree "eliminated" Tennessee, there has been nothing come out about the staff still trying. Most people talk as though the UT staff NEVER gives up. McClendon would be a good example. He stood them up about 32 times and they kept trying. VQ, 247, Scout, no articles talking about CBJ, or Thig trying to get in to talk to Adoree. Hmmmm.

No OV this weekend. UT coaches gone quiet. Hmmm

I agree that it is a bit odd for our staff to apparently give up on a kid. But I think a breach of trust would be one thing that would cause Butch to hang it up with a recruit. Reading between the lines of what orangehammer has reported from his source, it sounds like a breach of trust was what happened between Adoree' and our staff.
