LOL! I did too. It took me a few minutes to stop laughing long enough to post it. The shoes sailing through the air is what did it for me as well!:)

"I felt like it wasn't the right time because I felt like I wasn't sure and I wasn't really focussed on the school I wanted to go to so I was confused," Bethel said.

Now, Bethel plans to take a more open approach to his recruitment moving forward.

"I'm taking things kind of wide open. Tennessee, Miami, FSU, Texas Tech and Kentucky are still the programs I'll be looking at," Bethel explained.

"I'm going to Alabama (Monday) and I'll be at the camp there and I'm looking forward to getting an offer," Bethel said. "I'm going to stop by Florida State and then head back down to Miami."

"They're a nice program and they have a nice recruiting class going on right now and that's a big thing for me. Vic Wharton and Byron Moore tell me about the program and I like the coaching staff," Bethel offered. "Coach Martinez, he can help me get to the next level."

"They're recruiting me hard and telling me that I would make a great fit in their program and they're wanting me to help bring a national championship back to Tennessee, "Bethel said. "Coach Martinez keeps saying he can coach me up and I'm his guy."

I guess we have to hope we are not ever recruiting 2-3 kids from the same school who play the same position.

"Your our #1 guy". "So are you". "Yeah, you too".

"But coach said I was #1".

"What"! "Your FOS, he said I was"!

I usually don't say this because it always rings hollow, but I'm thinking he backed off his commitment last week or whatever to take a look at us but now we may not have room.

Basically, I think it's good news for Berrys and Gaulden.

my theory is similar, except it wasnt to look at us, it was to look at FSU one more time to make sure UM was the place for him. if im not mistaken, he just visited them within the past few days

Ah that must be it. I haven't followed him that closely. My theory was based 100% on our guys blowing him up on twitter the night he randomly didn't commit.

I probably shouldn't have come at you as I did in my original post. That was a mistake and childish on my behalf. Having said that I'm still leery of anyone here claiming insider info.
