UF flipped him from L'ville. Said he needs to make connect with new DL coach after Quinn left. Said UM and UF are his Top 2 atp. Top 5 player in Fl next cycle.

I think that he'll be back to Florida eventually.........just needs to see his name in lights for a bit.......but he knows UF offers him the best opportunity for PT to play close to home.

Caleb Brantley part 2 imo.

I know that his cousin played at Florida, but do you guys actually need him?

From a talent standpoint, everyone needs this kid. He's a monster. However, he's already de-committed from two schools and we're a year from signing day. This will be an interesting recruitment.

"I've got some visits coming up and I am planning a trip to Mississippi State real soon," said Valentine. "I am also going to see Miami, Alabama and Oklahoma real soon, too. Basically, I am mostly looking at Tennessee, Mississippi State and Oklahoma and then Florida State is on top of those schools. But the next time you see me make a decision it will be when I am putting the pen to the paper.

I don't see UF even in consideration right now, according to Valentine. Here's what he did say about UF, though:

"It is hard but it takes a lot off of your chest," said Valentine. "My decision, before I made it, felt like someone was punching me in my rib cage. Then I had a lot of people come at me and asked why I decommitted from Florida. But it just got to the point where it was hard and I wanted to take a break. So I made the decision to calm things down and take more time to figure things out."

Sounds like UF has never been his true first choice.

hard to say bc as soon as he got his UF offer he jumped. Kid will be all over the place before next NSD. TV has some major work to get done this summer and fall in the classroom.
