Who cares how many "top schools" he has. The kid seems like a player, and he has a couple of legit offers, including schools like Louisville, etc. He has an offer from UT, and that's what should matter.

Yea I think we're in pretty good shape with Miclisse until ND offers.When they offer he's going to ND.

Depends on who you ask. 247 doesn't think he has an offer from UT. Rivals does. I don't think anyone will know until he commits somewhere

Standard etiquette is to get our hopes up and then the "favorite team" that has otherwise ignored said recruit to this point to swoop in with an offer and pull him away in an instant.

I am holding out hope here. When he releases his top 60 next month(8 of which are actual offers) and we are still in it, I will pay closer attention.

Wouldn't you trust Hubbs and crew over Rucker and crew? Just saying. I could be very wrong, but I think he has one. He's a pretty good player.

Usually yes, but it's all the 247 writers not just Callahan. Stuff like this all depends on the recruits word, which is why we are in the situation were in. It's a complicated issue. This is the first time I've seen something like this.

Otha peters is an example of Callahan being right over hubbs. It's intriguing to me that the 247 analyst of the Florida area is the one of the main people saying he doesn't have an offer by most of the schools. He probably has better sources in Florida than hubbs.

I have no idea who is right or wrong but this going to be a confusing and interesting recruitment.

Only offer I am worried about is a UT offer. The kid can tell all the stories he likes about having 93 offers as long as his offer he claims from Tennessee is good and he takes it. :loco:

I hear you. I'm going to ask the 247 guys to look into the UT "offer" specifically once I get the chance.

That'd be awesome. I'd like to know what kind of source is telling them that he doesn't have those offers. Is it a high school coach? A person at UT?

Hubbs works in concert with the Tennessee football program. He has access that no other person/website has.

When it comes to Tennessee info, Hubbs is THE GUY

I don't think anyone will argue that. Callahan does a really good job reporting just recruiting news. He's always the guy contacting recruits for interviews and updates. Solely based on the journalism, Rucker is the one that attempts to pass off that he's in the know.

At any rate, I'm going to ask about the offer because 247 (Callahan and crew) is reporting he doesn't have an offer, and that is based on 247 analysts in FL. They aren't just making it up.

I think it's pretty clear it comes down to if ND offers. If they do, he picks them. If they do not, I think he is a VOL.

He "has offers" from Texas, SCarolina, Auburn, UCLA, and Oklahoma. Georgia, Miami, and ND made it in whom don't even report having interest. This isn't adding up.
