For a good look at his speed, check out the Junior highlights kick return at 2:39 on Hudl. He's running pretty much a straight line down the sideline and covers 40 yards (from the 40 to the 20) in about 4 seconds flat. Of course, that's not his true 40, as he is already at top speed from the start. But still, covering 40 yards in 4 seconds flat is fast. Kid has some nice moves too. Hard to bring down. Has anyone heard anything about why his ranking dropped? Solely based on lack of offers? Can a 247 member e-mail or tweet the local ratings guy to see what they based it on?

Let the recruiting services ask that when this kid is sprinting towards the end zone on the receiving end of several TDs passes.


Think Keenan Allen, Derrick Mason, Wes Welker type.

I agree, the kid looks like a really nice player. Just wonder what drops a kid that much with seemingly nothing to base it on? Dropped from a 94 to a 90 to an 86, all the while having a solid Junior year and being named 5A first team All State in Florida. It would p!ss me off to pay for a membership to a site like that and not be given a reason as to why a player dropped that much in the ratings. Which is the very reason I just come to VolNation. :)

Needs beefin' up to play sec ball. Perhaps that is why his stock dropped from one year to the next.

Well I respectfully disagree, Bill Polian stated when he sees Allen he sees Reggie Wayne. I get the speed factor but Allen will be physical outside receiver not a quick, but not fast, smallish slot guy.

Hope somebody persuades you not to compare our future Volunteers to felons based solely on the music in a highlight video they probably had nothing to do with.

My son is almost 14, a few cuss words is lowest on my concern pole. It's unnecessary for the song, but I wouldn't label someone a felon for listening to it.

Well then this guy is nothing like them, unless you haven't watched his film this kid has jets.

Florida 5a ball is no joke and this guy is just gliding by everyone. No matter the angle the defenders take they still can't cut him off

My bad. Bash away. I had it queued up to go out this morning since I don't like sending them too late. I just now realized it never was sent.

I'll try not to let that happen again. :)
