#14 Florida @ #20 Vanderbilt

But that's a good thing. You reminded me to join the dark-er side.

Let's hope Tennessee can take care of business tomorrow. Looking forward to the game.

Our fate is officially in our hands. Do we dribble it off our foot and out of bounds?

It's pretty sad that I felt much more confident with two of our rivals taking care of their end of the bargain than the Vols holding up their end.

Here we appreciate that. Don't tell it to UK fans, though. They'll lol atya

You're welcome guys. :)

As for what UK fans think about our SEC title, somebody wake me up when they win an SEC title in their "secondary" sport, let alone back-to-back national titles in it.

How about when they actually beat Tennessee and Florida (either one or the other) in that "secondary" sport?

Amen brother.

My traveling group about started a riot in Lexington four years ago. We were there for the UF-UK football game. They'd just beaten #1 LSU in OT the week before and ESPN Gameday was in town.

During this time UF had a 5 or 6 game winning streak over UK in hoops, in addition to our football winning streak being legally old enough to buy alcohol.

Anyway, we wind up winning by a TD, in spite of our defense doing all it could to make Andre Woodson look like John Elway. Our section started chanting "JUST LIKE BASKETBALL!" as UK fans were leaving the stadium.

Good times....

I admit that Donovan had 3 magical seasons. That doesn't change the fact that he's missed the tournament the same amount of times as he's advanced past the 1st weekend.

If you take away Donovan's 2 national titles, 3 SEC tournament titles and 2 outright regular season SEC titles, he's really just an average basketball coach.

As I said, if you took out the 2 seasons with Noah et al, it drastically alters the appearance of his abilities as a coach. Yes, he won 2 championships. I acknowledge that, but with those seasons notwithstanding, he has 1 outright SEC title in 13 years (this year), 2 losing seasons, and 3 NIT births.

The difference is that you seem to put the credit for the 'ships on Donovan, I put it on the players. The rest of Donovan's career proves he's alright.

Good story man.

Always fun to see the look on UK fans' faces when they lose. Same goes for Vandy.

As for the chanting, the best thing I recall is barking at UGA fans in 06 at Sanford. God that was amazing. 51-33.

13 years and only 2 losing season...that's above alright. also, he has made three NC games and winning 2.

I'm aware of that stat, and if you're coaching in a piss-poor SEC for 15 years, claiming to be a Hall of Famer, you shouldn't be having 2 losing seasons.

To be fair, Bruce Pearl has the same differential of National Titles to losing seasons.

you are smoking.....his first year SEC put 5 teams in the tourney....4 made Sweet 16, 2 made Final and Ky won the title. His 2nd year 6 team made the tourney with Ky, Ga, South Carolina, all being 3 seeds or higher so tell me when the SEC was 'piss-poor" during his losing seasons?

apparently, donovan was supposed to win at florida right out of the gate with the crap that he inherited.

don't mention the two losing seasons like there wasn't a talent problem at florida when he got there.

coach k would have had losing seasons too, with what donovan had to work with when he got to florida.

One of Vandy's most talented team in some time and they still can't win the big games. I love it!!
