'14 GA OL Orlando Brown (Signed with Oklahoma)

"mainly the facilities, the opportunity to play as a freshman, the feeling i got there, the fact they have good academics and they care about their athletes," brown said. "it's not even what the coaches have done, it's their personalities. Tennessee feels like home. I felt like i could trust the coaching staff. I feel like they could lead me the right way toward the nfl in a few years."

according to brown, his mother was supportive of his decision.

"she likes them for the same reasons i do," he said. "she was excited.

brown said he doesn't plan to visit any schools besides tennessee.

"this is it," he said. "i'm done."

brown has not attended a volunteers home game. That is something he plans to do often this fall.

"oh, man, i'm excited," brown said. "i've heard there's 100,000-plus fans, all in orange and white, screaming. I've heard there's a whole bunch of noise. It sounds like an adrenaline rush."

"I made my decision last week," Brown told FOX Sports NEXT. "It came down to Tennessee, Oklahoma and Arkansas. I decided that Tennessee was the best place for me."

"I made my decision after the spring game," Brown said. "That's when I knew Tennessee is where I wanted to be. They have a great opportunity for me there, and I have a chance to compete early."

"I love the staff," Brown said. "I have a great relationship with Butch Jones, coach Mahoney and coach Thigpen. I love the staff. I called coach Jones and committed to him last week. I told him I was 100-percent to Tennessee, and I was going to make it public on my 17th birthday. Coach Jones said it made his night, and he's happy to have me as part of the family and we both can't wait for me to get there."

"I'm 100-percent committed to Tennessee, and I'm done with this recruiting process," Brown said.

Former Vols Aubrayo Franklin and Albert Haynesworth were "good friends" of his late father. Orlando Brown Sr. also opened holes for former Tennessee tailback Jay Graham while both were Baltimore Ravens.
