I doubt one had anything to do with the other but, maybe with Kitt announcing to CU early(think he was supposed to on June 10th) it allows us to now take Booth. Maybe the staff was stalling with the "camp" talk and Booth while they waited to see what Kitt did. I think Booth should already be a Vol.

im thinking we are only going to take 2 more outside receivers. of course Malone is first. but i think Lauderdale is our 2nd and the reason Booth cant commit yet

Your probably right. My concern with taking Lauderdale is you sign him and he may be gone in a year. With Booth, you get him for at least 3 years. If we keep signing Jucos and they leave after 1 year(CP, Sentimore) we will keep having depth issues.

13 was a pretty good WR class so I don't think our depth issues will be as big an issue in 14 as they are this coming year.

I agree. If we were holding off on Booth to see what Kitt was doing, we should have just took Booth's committment and focused on Malone and other positions of need.

So what did Escape Goat post yesterday and withdraw in 2 minutes that suggested that Malone is not coming to UT? If that is so, who besides Truitt [whether slot or DB] are we in on? Who are the top notch outside receivers that we are recruiting besides Malone? Still wondering about the supposed hold on the Booth commitment if this info is correct.
