'14 JUCO DT Davonte Lambert (Auburn Commit 12/18/13)

Really guys... Let's not be like those Clemson fans when we got Malone... Money doesn't have to be involved for someone to flip. He lives closer to there, he has a friend going there and I mean these things happen. Butch and comp. gave it their all and they tried to do what they could... I'm not going to freak out about losing him. I love what our coaches are doing. Wanted him in this class, but if not alas oh well... We will get another

Except if he chooses the Barn then he outright LIED to the coaches. I think there is still some hope he picked us, but if he didn't then that is a pretty big hit on how I view the guy.

Also, anyone with connections to the staff that predicted him to us here, I won't hold this one against you if the prediction ends up wrong.

That would disappoint me if true....Just doesn't fit what he and his family has been saying publicly at all....If he wanted to flip that was fine but why lie?

he was a liar way before Garner came along. He just didn't wake up and become a liar. Im not mad or anything its probably a blessing. If he was on board with Tn he would of never did what he did today.

In a year where we will have to replace our entire starting DL, getting a guy like Lambert would've helped reduce our dependence on freshmen. That makes his loss a bigger deal than it may have been otherwise.

I'm not going to go the sour grapes route and say we didn't want him anyways. He was one of the more important players in this class to immediate impact. Losing him isn't the end of the world but also not like this isn't a significant hit to this class.
