I really hope Chris is a part of this class but Doug Matthews has been fairly adamant that he will not be. Said there are red flags about him not getting his schoolwork done so that he could EE, that he may not even graduate in May and on average, studies have shown that a JUCO player who doesn't EE typically takes til game 6 of the season until he contributes.

Don't shoot the messenger because I'm hoping like hell he's wrong here. Just relaying what he's said about Weatherd the last 2 Sundays on his show.

WTF, can anybody try and ask the VQ guys, Hubbs. somebody..
surely he has been doing what he needs to do.
Orlando Brown must not be the only suspect that Mathews could be talking abot

I've heard from Fortenberry, Callahan and also Scott Altizer (UT Academic Administrator) and they say Weatherd is well on track with his grades and is on top of everything! There should be no worry about him getting things done, this kid has the drive and passion and will not let Volnation down!

Hope they're all right and that Chris is part of the class. Great kid who can be an elite pass rusher. Just hearing Coach Matthews speaking with such certainty has me a little spooked. Hope he's wrong this time. I'm gonna believe PFort et al until we see otherwise.
