"I came out there this summer and I felt love and felt at home and I took all the visits to make sure home was home and it was Tennessee," Blair said. "I felt I was all planned out and worked out how I wanted it."
"It was an environment that the coaches were telling me the truth, there was no beating around the bush or nothing," Blair said. "I wanted to be all in when I committed so that's why I took my time and took my visits. I already knew that home was home and that's why I wanted to take the Tennessee visit last."
"I've known Thigpen for a long time and when he talked to me the first time he offered and I said thank you and because of Thigpen I gave them a chance," Blair said. "I didn't know coach Mahoney and coach Jones and they let me know they needed me and that I had a big opportunity there."
"That's big for any juco player and if I get out in the spring I can come in and earn a spot," Blair said. "It's the perfect place and only place that I feel that me coming in that I can play because in two or three years from everyone will want to come to Tennessee."
"It's the environment and the way coach Jones is building the program brick-by-brick that's something everybody is going to want be a part of," Blair said. "I feel like next season is going to special."
