My only concern is at Center. I'm not sold on Crowder. He's somewhat undersized, and I haven't seen anything from him that flashes SEC talent. That may come, and he may grow considerably more between now and next fall. I hope we develop or recruit someone to challenge him for the job.This. The interior of our line will have some bad mofos on it. The definition of big nasties.
Coleman Thomas is/and will be a stud center. But Mack's super smart, he can definitely get it done on the inside. My only concern is at Center. I'm not sold on Crowder. I love how everytime a prospect de-commits, a new prospect commits like the very next day. Also, D. Blair is a beast.
So glad we got D. Blair. He's got great measurables and will likely see the field early next year, especially if he is an EE.

theres about four or five junior-college offensive tackles in this class that weve identified as impact guys, and blair is one of them, 247sports national recruiting director jc shurburtt said.
hes from anniston, ala., which is in northern alabama, and thats a place tennessee historically has been able to recruit pretty well. And considering their depth chart next year on the offensive line, i think its about as big of a pickup as you can get in this class.
certainly, beating auburn on an alabama kid and beating texas a&m, with the momentum that they have right now he did have a good visit out there is huge.
junior-college recruiting, a lot of times, is about opportunity, shurburtt said. i think the opportunity at tennessee appeals to him, and i think hes an answer for next year for at least one of the offensive-line positions.
The coaches love Crowder and lots of glowing reports have come out about him, so I'd say you're a little off base here.
Why OL Blair is such a key commitment

Tennessee took a significant step toward addressing one of its most glaring needs in the 2014 class Tuesday night with the commitment of four-star offensive tackle Dontavius Blair.
The 6-foot-8, 302-pound sophomore from Garden City (Kan.) Community College, who's a former standout at Anniston (Ala.) High School, chose the Vols over Texas A&M, Auburn, Florida State and Ole Miss, among others, giving Tennessee a possible bookend tackle capable of stepping into its starting lineup right away.
It was an important addition to the Vols' class for multiple reasons.
"There's about four or five junior-college offensive tackles in this class that we've identified as impact guys, and Blair is one of them," 247Sports national recruiting director JC Shurburtt said.

Being behind so many experienced linemen prob. If he doesn't crack the rotation next spring then we'll know
