'14 MD LB Jerome Dews (UT Commit 6/24)

People are allowed to speculate and have opinions. This is a public message board. If this bothers you, you probably shouldn't log on.

People like you are the exact reason why some people do not like message boards. If you are going to act like a know-it-all and post your opinions as facts maybe you shouldn't log in. There is a difference in posting opinions and being jerk. You sounded so sure of yourself now you are getting defensive because people called you out on it.

Are you the same guy that has been banned from this board like 3 times and keeps coming back under different screen names and email addresses?

I guess he told you this personally? Stop with the speculations. And where did you hear coaches have told him to look elswhere, and which coach did you here this from!

Sharing an uninformed, uneducated opinion (which everyone is free to formulate) and being smacked down and corrected by someone with actual knowledge of the situation! Love it, let him know how it is MDObserver.

So you believe everyone is who they say they are online?

You guys are hilarious. I've already stated it's my OPINION.
with all due respect, you said coaches have hinted for him to look elswhere, thats not an opinion, thats a statement, that could be very mis interpreting, and can be taken the wrong way by people, and all types of sh!t could be stirred up.

I like Dews a lot. He has been "all Vol" for a while now, and has been a nice recruiter for this class. I don't understand all of the ins and outs of recruiting, I learned several years ago to not get too high or too low because things change, especially come NSD, but I hope he ends up a Vol because I think he really wants to be here, and that's the kind of players we need right now.

Dont know how to take that, but we dont answer the phone if its not a full scholarship. He decided he didnt need to, young man may be beggining to understand loyalty.

I meant it as Jerome seems very happy with his UT decision. If Rutgers wanted to talk, I would think he would not waste time talking to them unless they had already offered a full scholarship. Glad to hear he is all Vol and ready to go.

Got you, sounds about right, had to look at the big picture, some kids just love to be courted, I think he kind of got caught up in the hype.

MDObserver From your point of view, does the UT/ VT game in Bristol play into recruiting in any way? I know if I had a chance to be a part of something that big, I would want in.

Likewise, would you be willing to share what your family found to be the biggest high and low points of the recruiting process?

Desperation bump.

He gets to UT and busts his tail, he'll get all the love and hype from fans that he ever wanted!
Way to shut it down, Jerome!

I doubt the Bristol game playred a part, playing at Neyland was enough for him, high points were CBJ speaks about graduating his kids in 3 to 31/2 yrs, facilities, and I also really like the VOL for Life program, low points was it was to much food!
