YES. If we land a high ranked class, kids in the next class take notice that we are turning the program around. In several interviews with recruits, they bring up our current high ranked class. Higher ranked class = better recruiting next year.

if we land a high ranked class and it doesn't translate on the field of play then kids will take notice also....

CBJ' s success is the building of a family which has been lacking for a long while.

Let me add --- playing time and competition may run some of the 2015 class off also. It is position dependent of course.

Neither one of us can point to one aspect of recruiting and state that is the reason they did or did not come. If we are recruiting quality to our position of need with depth then rankings have no significant meaning. If we rely solely on the number of stars and the rankings of services that get evaluations wrong 35%+ of the time because there are too many to evaluate in depth.

The EE numbers are impressive also....another factor. Does 247 count JUCOs.

Too many factors but would rather recruit based on needs and depth quality verses rankings based on opinions.

Rivals, Scout, 247 and ESPN. Look at the variance between these services. They have gotten better over the year but still disagree on talent evaluations.
