"When you have 110-thousand fans at a game, it kind of speaks for itself," the 5-10, 185 pound Scott said. "The atmosphere was crazy and how hard the team played was impressive. They didn't have a great year record wise but you can see the direction things are going with how hard they played as a team. It tells you a lot about the relationships with the coaches at the players."
"How comfortable I was with the coach Jones and coach G (Gillespie)," Scott answered when asked why Tennessee. "I am really comfortable around them and I like how coach G can help teach me the next four years. "We have a really good relationship. We talk a lot. He's a honest coach. He keeps it honest with you. He's fun but serious too."
"Kendall was honest with me about how things were. How coaches were and what it's like to go to school there," Scott said. "I didn't make the decision because of Kendall. I made my own decision for me, but we talked a lot about Tennessee."
"Really just trying to decide what to believe from the coaches," Scott said of the challenges of being recruited. "They all tell you the same thing. It's crazy they all tell you that you are the best player. You have to read between the lines to know what real."
