Naw it's just we have depth now that we don't need to rely on a one legged TE. He will play in relief but I expect Wolf/Helm/Bransiel and Ellis to get majority of time

Brewer destroyed that poor kids leg. Unfortunately he could only hurt his own teammates and an NC state Rb instead of opponents with those hits.

Downs has been quoted recently at being very impressed with with both Wolf and Helms with plenty of room in Butch's offense for all of them.

Read a quote where brendan said all the tight ends were getting reps in practice. I expect with his experience he should see game reps.

No. But at practice the other night, both Helm and Wolf looked much better. Helm was taking first team snaps, Wolf second team.

Don't think there is a big dropoff from one to the other.

Wonder if we'll see any packages with them upright, instead of down next to the tackle

I wouldn't expect Branisel to contribute too much early in the season. All reports state that he is definitely still recovering from his surgery and is not 100%.

Yeah I would agree. He will play this year though. They seem to really like him.
