Great info... Glad to see UT is in for a top tier DT.... That hasn't happened much in the last few years. Butch bringing coach Strip should have a big impact for us

The Vol Nation needs to do early what no one else has done. Follow him on Twitter @poonaf and blow up his twitter feed with Love about UT football. Just my opinion for what it's worth. I think the kid would look great in orange.

Oh and one last thing. Poona....short for ?. Here is the story: grandma is a huge influence in the kids life. Since the day he was born, she called him pooh bear. When he was around 10, he told her being called pooh bear at school was getting embarrassing. G-ma then switched it to Poona. Now you know the story, so maybe the jokes will stop.

Ok, guys, I've asked this before, but I'm not a particularly brilliant individual.

I'm gonna follow him on Twitter, in a non-stalker way, and would like to show my approval of ye olde Vols.

Would I just follow him, and then send an occassional, "Go Vols." to avoid being "creepy?"

Jokes should stop regardless, just a bunch of immature joking on a messageboard. Mods would be wise to clean it up, for the obvious reasons. We all really want him to come here.

I can't speak for everyone, but for me, the jokes are meant in good fun. Believe me, my name was butchered all my life; at first it bothered me, then I embraced it. If he's sensitive about it, I won't make another pun but I'm sure he hears worse on the field.

Loved ut's facilities. He knew coach jones and coach strip from Uc camp last year. Jones is an amazing recruiter you guys will find out. Biggest influence in decision is his grandma and coach. People think South Carolina has advantage because its close. South Carolina is 2 and a half from Hilton head. Knoxville is only 5 and a half. That is not a long drive.

It doesn't bother the kid, he doesn't read forums. This is a kid who doesn't get into the hype let alone about himself. I can say I never heard a thing about his name until message boards. Not just this site, happens on all.

I can't do it, Nick. I can follow the players on the team but not HS kids. If you feel ok with it, do it. They love it. Just make sure you have a UT avatar so when he looks at who's following him, he doesn't wonder.

I know you said UT unless FSU or tOSU gets involved. Is he a huge fan of those two? How much would it effect us if he does get interest from them?

To add to this...make sure he realizes FSU is VERY deep at DT. He may eventually be wanted at FSU, but he is needed desperately at UT!!

Ohio state is like UT. Loved his film wanted to see him again in person. Once UT did, offer.
Florida state, the kid just always liked their style if defense. With that said, OSU is alot more in the mix from a contact/recruiting perspective than FSU. I don't see FSU being a huge factor. OSU could be..because, well Urban is Urban.

What kind of depth chart situation is Poona looking for? Immediate PT? Or depth doesn't matter? I was just thinking as I was typing that DT position probably has the least amount of freshman contributors at all schools.
