#14 TCU @ Baylor (ESPN 8:00 EST)

If he were far superior they wouldn't be getting their D ran up and down the field.

Yes, because Patterson didn't build a Rose Bowl winning program at TCU. Nope, totally another guy.

TCU returned three starters from last year's defense. That's not a recipe for success, regardless of the coach. Is it his fault he graduated 14 starters combined on both sides?

His isn't far superior is all I'm saying, if he were he wouldn't be getting embarassed right now.

Losing players is no excuse, their D has been top ten for like a decade now, I'm sure TCU lost several starters on that side of the ball in one of those years.

The gameplan by Baylor is pretty elementary, read option, play-action pass, repeat.

This is some of the worst defense that I've ever seen played...and it's being played equally poorly by BOTH teams!

Are you really going to discredit Gary Patterson based on 20 minutes of football?

No.

He is a great defensive minded coach, no doubt, but you said that he is far superior, obviously not, they are getting a pretty simple gameplan rammed down their throat.

Griffin is having an outstanding game. I expected him to have a solid night, but nothing like this.

I can't recall who it was, but I saw somebody call this Griffin III kid a darkhorse Heisman candidate. The guy said this kid is the real deal. If he can only play against TCU's defense every week, then he'd have a serious shot at it.

Griffin will do this to most teams they play against.
