Pretty sure this is not true.
During the recruiting process, prospective student-athletes go on an official visit to the school they are being recruited by. An official visit is a prospective student-athletes visit to a college campus paid for by the college. The college can pay for transportation to and from the college, room and meals (three per day) while visiting and reasonable entertainment expenses, including three complimentary admissions to a home athletics contest. NCAA recruiting bylaws limit the number of official visits a recruit may take to five.[2] The NCAA has imposed stringent rules limiting the manner in which competing university-firms may bid for the newest crop of prospective student-athletes. Such rules limit the number of visits, which a student-athlete may make to a given campus, the amount of his expenses that may be covered by the university-firm, and so forth.[4]

I assume all of Vic's visits were official. She was confused.
I don't understand your point. We know the university can pay for an official visit, and a recruit is only allowed one OV per university with a maximum of 5 total OVs. A university cannot pay for anything when a recruit takes an unofficial visit.
See my post above. A recruit can only take 1 OV to each university. Your friend is confused about what is being paid for. His expenses this weekend are completely covered by TN, because he's on an OV this weekend. All other visits he has taken to TN have been unofficial visits.
auburn says your very wrong. The school can pay for everything on an UOV. Strippers, drugs, food, limos, hookers, shopping sprees, and cash for church renovations. The key is the said recruit has to "not know about it".

I don't really pay much attention on who post unless it is THE FREAK. I just enjoy the light conversations of people that bleed orange like myself. Not here to bash anyone nor do I consider myself an insider. I do know that Vic will officially know today if he is going to a GS. He does not think so, but is not 100% certain until they make it official today.
