Yes, Free should be faster, as he would be counted on to clean up everyone else's mess from sideline to sideline. Strong is sort of a roving LB.

McDowell said awhile ago he was gonna let TK play free and he would play strong. Coaches will obviously decide though.

I played against this kid when he was a sophomore & wanted him to be a vol since then. Can't wait till he's in orange!!

Yeah, this article from al.com has McDowell running a 4.68.

Though that's from May and it's likely his JR year time. That's not a great speed for FS. He could have trimmed it down, though. Regardless, he's 6'3 200lbs coming out of HS. Kam Chancellor is also 6'3 (now 230) and runs a 4.65 and is regarded as one of the top SSs in the NFL right now. Speed matters, but it isn't everything.

TKJR runs a 4.46 electronically timed. That's usually very accurate (unlike hand-timed).

I'd guess TKJR will project at FS and McDowell at SS. Given TKJRs speed, Payne's speed, Moseley's speed, Sutton's speed... this could be the fastest overall DB group we've had in a very very long time. FS and CBs are all in the mid 4.3-mid 4.4 range.

TK2 is all Vol and don't you know CUM cries about it every day. Probably thought he had TK2 locked up back in February. What he didn't realize was the TK2 just punked him forever by posing for this pic. :rock:

I'll have nightmares about that picture for a while.......But they will pale in comparison to the nightmares opposing offensive coordinators are going to have over the next few years. :)

Totally agree! It was shocking at first but then it made me lol in a sick way thinking about how the pic haunts Urbie. Not that it makes up for Vonn Bell, but it helps a little.
