"I called and told him," Kelly said. "He put coach Martinez on the phone and they were both excited. Coach Jones was like, 'Are you serious?' and he told me that I made his year. I wish I had told him in person, because I would have loved to have seen his face when I gave him the news."
"I went to church this morning thinking that I had made my decision," Kelly said. "I went up for prayer with my parents and the minister and we prayed for reassurance. It gave me a great peace about everything. I knew it was right."
"I called Jalen (Hurd) and Vic (Wharton)," Kelly said. "I'm going to do whatever I can to get Jalen on board. That's my main concern now is to get people here with me. I'm going to recruit hard for Tennessee."
"I don't want to force anything," Kelly said. "Obviously everyone wants to play as soon as possible, but I want to be completely ready. College is a different game, especially in the SEC, but I'd love to play early if I'm ready."
